Wet Dog Triathlon at Point Mallard

OFFICIAL DATE FOR 2027 - COMING SOON! Wet Dog Triathlon at Point Mallard is a 400 meter open water swim, followed by a 15k bike ride and a 5k run along the beautiful (and FLAT) banks of the Tennessee River at Decatur, Alabama. Wet Dog is a fundraiser for Tennessee Valley Outreach, Morgan County Rescue Squad, and Princess Theater. Wet Dog at Point Mallard is the second of three races that make up the Summer Sprint Series. Heel & Crank Duathlon and the Huntsville Sprint Triathlon are the remaining event in the series. Each participant who finishes will receive a series water bottle at no extra charge.
